Trust and safety

Community Guidelines

ChurchOS helps churches build caring communities. These standards apply to posts, comments, messages, prayer content, profiles, media, and other member-created content on ChurchOS.

Effective August 27, 2026

Treat people with respect

Do not harass, bully, threaten, shame, or target people because of who they are. Disagreement is allowed; personal attacks, hateful conduct, and intimidation are not.

Protect privacy

Do not share another person's private information, confidential conversations, photos, or personal circumstances without appropriate permission.

Keep the community safe

Do not post sexually explicit, exploitative, graphically violent, or dangerous content. Use particular care with content involving children or vulnerable people.

Be authentic and trustworthy

Do not impersonate others, mislead members, promote scams, manipulate engagement, or repeatedly post unwanted advertising and spam.

Participate constructively

Keep posts relevant to the community, respect leaders and members, and avoid behavior intended to disrupt worship, care, learning, or group discussion.

Report responsibly

Use reporting tools in good faith. Do not file false reports, coordinate reports to silence someone, or retaliate against a person who raises a safety concern.

How we enforce these standards

Depending on severity, context, and repetition, ChurchOS or an authorized church moderator may issue a warning, remove content, restrict posting, suspend church membership access, block abusive interaction, or restrict platform access. Serious safety concerns may be escalated to the ChurchOS platform team.

Church and group rules may add more specific expectations, but they cannot override these platform safety standards.

Report a concern

Use the Report action beside supported content or profiles. Reports are private; ChurchOS does not disclose the reporter's identity to the person reported. If someone is abusive, you can also block them.

For urgent danger, contact local emergency services. For ChurchOS safety support, email info@softswitch.tech.
